Paver Protector’s cleaning process removes all weeds, grass, moss and the old joint sand…which probably washed out of the joints within the first year of having your patio so it’s pretty much the joint “dirt” that we remove. With the joints cleaned out we then sweep in Polymeric Joint Sand which contains polymers that harden and lock the sand in place to resist weeds and grass from growing and to resist washing out with rain and leaving the joints open to seeds sprouting.
