Paver Protector was hired to do a few things on this 9 year old brick paver patio in Huntley, IL. The homeowner wanted to correct some areas that were settling and sinking as well as adding a small section of pavers leading to the gate in the fence and lastly have the enitre surface cleaned resanded and sealed.

The pros at Paver Protector started off by releveling the areas that had settled near the downspouts and along the edges of the patio. Then the brick paver patio addition was completed. Using the same style and color of brick pavers allowed the hardscape installers to seamlessly add on approximatly 100 square feet to the patio and connect the patio to the gated fence.
Lastly Paver Protector powerwashed the brick pavers to remove stains and dirt from the surface as well as weeds, moss and the old joint sand from the cracks. Polymeric sand was installed the following day and thenwet look brick paver sealer was applied to bring out the color from the 9 year old faded pavers. This wet look sealer really rejuvinates older faded pavers. The sealer also helps to protect against future fading and stains and makes cleaning the paver surface easier.
